Broodmare Feeding Program: LEGENDS CARBCARE BALANCER PELLET should be fed at the recommended rate of 0.1% - 0.2% of bodyweight to breeding and pregnant mares daily. For a 1,000 pound mare during the first 8 months of pregnancy, feed at the rate of 1 - 1.5 pounds daily and for the last 3 1/2 months of pregnancy, feed at the rate of 1.5 - 2 pounds daily. A body condition score of 5.0 - 6.0 should be maintained along with adequate hay or pasture.
NOTE: Do not permit intake of supplemental selenium to exceed 0.3 ppm in the total ration.
